Kale contains omega-3 fatty acids which are good for the brain, twice the vitamin C of an orange and more vitamin A than any other leafy green. Wrinkled dark green (almost black) leaves with an excellent sweet flavour which improves after a frost. Great cooked with pasta or in soup. Very hardy and easy to grow.
